11:45 – 12:30 Sleep Essentials from Infancy through Toddlerhood

with Arielle Driscoll from Root & Sprout Family Fitness & Wellness Studio

Learn how to establish healthy sleep hygiene, create healthy sleep foundations, strategies to help if your infant or toddler is struggling with sleep, and realistic expectations for your child’s sleep. We will explore both the physical and cognitive developments that occur between 4 and 36 months, and how these developments play a role in your child’s sleep.

Arielle Driscoll is a certified pediatric sleep consultant and the manager of prenatal, postpartum, and new parent programs at Root & Sprout in Northborough.  Arielle is also on the leadership team of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants.

 

 

 

12:45 – 1:30 Car Seat Safety

with UMASS Memorial Injury Prevention Center

80% of child seats are used incorrectly. Leah Goteinerharrist, Child Passenger Safety Technician from UMASS Memorial Injury Prevention Center will discuss proper use of car seats, and how to choose the right seat for your child. Too many children “graduate” out of a car seat to booster to soon or to no booster at all.

 

 

 

1:45 – 2:30 Mommy and Me Ballet

Come help your 2-3 year old child learn a few ballet moves that will get them excited to expand their ballet skills.

 

2:45 – 3:15 Tongue Tie with Chang Dental Group

Dr. Jenny Chang is a prosthodontist and Owner of Chang Dental Group.  Dr. Chang is looking forward to sharing with you the signs and indicators of tongue tie to look for in order to assure that you are setting your child up for optimal health and the best breastfeeding experience possible for both you and your baby.
Dr. Chang is a Harvard graduate who is passionate about patient care and education. By day she is changing lives smile by smile, and by night she is learning new skills and techniques in order to provide the best possible care in her practice. Part of her studies have included gaining knowledge around interconnectivity of health, be it mind, body or oral. Because of this, Frenectomies became an important focus for Dr. Chang as a mother and a care provider. Being able to play an integral role in finding a source and solution to breastfeeding pain and infant health has been a pivotal point for Dr. Chang in her pursuit to provide the absolute best patient experience possible.
